# Protein binder format sample v0

An illustrative sample of a proposed experimental-data delivery format.

The supplied schema states that sequences are masked and several fields contain illustrative values. This package is a format preview, not a verified experimental dataset, training release or model benchmark.

## Contents

- sample_binders.csv: 117 example records with 30 fields.
- sample_binders.json: the same records and fields, with JSON value types.
- data_dictionary.csv: field names, units, descriptions and proposed sample/pilot status.
- schema_v0.md: proposed row definition, release structure and threshold examples.

One row is defined as one construct and one replicate. The supplied sample uses replicate index 1 throughout; it does not demonstrate repeated experimental coverage. The format includes fields for molecular design, assay conditions, production, binding, fit quality, stability, device response and outcome.

## Status and documentation

The four supplied source files are included unchanged.

The schema refers to a separate source/provenance reference document and auxiliary files. Those files were not supplied and are not included. This package does not independently verify the origin of particular values.

Some data-dictionary status_in_sample descriptions say empty, null or not in sample even though those fields are populated in the accompanying files. Treat these descriptions as draft documentation, not reliable per-field provenance. Consult the schema's overall illustrative-sample notice.

The schema reports that the sample inherits CC BY-NC 4.0 from its source and is not a commercial dataset. The separate source/licensing reference document is not included. This package does not grant additional usage rights.

## Format checks

CSV and JSON were parsed and compared: all 117 records and 30 fields agree, allowing for numeric formatting and CSV versus JSON types. These checks establish format consistency, not experimental validity.
